Odyssée–2022–DomaineDuseigneur

Odyssée 2022 is a biodynamic Côtes du Rhône red wine, produced by Bernard Duseigneur at Domaine Duseigneur, 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah.

60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, from 30-year-old vines farmed biodynamically in the Gard, in the village of Saint Victor Lacoste. The vines are planted in sandy-clay soils on the north face of the slope – the part most exposed to the wind. The plot is bordered by a dense swathe of forest that isolates it from the outside. Each grape variety is vinified separately, with partial de-stemming, maceration in cement vats, gentle pressing, maturation in vats and blending a few weeks before bottling. Neither fined nor filtered, and only a small dose of sulphur.
