This Pinot Noir from Domaine Patrick Javillier is a dark ruby red in colour. It exudes red fruit aromas of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, cassis, and blackcurrant with woody and spicy notes. With age, it becomes full bodied with structured tannins. The vineyard from which this wine is sourced sits at the bottom of the Corton hill, acting as a sort of gateway and introduction to the Grand Cru sites slightly further up the slope.
