Marco Pelleriti has managed to become a benchmark in world winemaking. His talent has led this Argentine professional to position himself among the best. Today he is the first Latin American winemaker to obtain 100 points from Robert Parker.Thanks to more than 36 vintages in Vista Flores â€?Valle de Uco â€?Argentina, Pomerol â€?Bordeaux â€?France and Spain, he learned to play in the vineyard, and achieves excellent production results with his world-famous wines.As a young professional, Marcelo was hired by Michel Rolland, an influential winemaker from Bordeaux, with hundreds of clients in 13 countries and influencing the style of wine around the world.Together, they managed to turn the vineyard into excellent wines with a worldwide reputation.However, his passion for wines is an incessant search that led him to embark on his own personal project, Marcelo Pelleriti Wines, in 2007. In this project, Marcelo sets out to re-evaluate the terroirs that marked the beginning of his career.Marcelo is also the official winemaker of Bodega Monteviejo in Tunuyán, located in the world famous Mendoza region in Argentina.He is also a winemaker at Chateau La Violette and Chateau Le Gay in Bordeaux, France.

The winery is located in the heart of the Uco Valley, in the province of Mendoza. The Uco Valley is known for being the main wine-growing region in Argentina and in Latin America. It has altitudes that range between 900 and 1200 meters (about 0.7 miles) above sea level.The average temperature is 14o C degrees (57o F).With a great thermal amplitude between day and night. The winery benefits from ideal climatic and geographic factors, such as high altitude, alluvial soils, limited irrigation and more than 250 sunny days a year.All these factors allow the best conditions for the ripening and concentration of fruits. This results in deep colors, intense aromas, and rich textures.
