Penfolds St Henri Shiraz is a multi-regional multi-vineyard South Australian blend, primarily based on Shiraz with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, originally know as St Henri Claret, initially St Henri achieved greater commercial success than Grange. Deep crimson in colour, elderberry, mulberry and bramble aromas with liquorice notes. A richly concentrated wine with juicy mulberry and elderberry fruits, with underlaying roasted walnut complexity, plentiful brambly tannins and a fresh acidity lead to long sweet finish.
