Philipponnat Clos Des Goisses 2011 Vintage Champagne is a blend of 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay, partially vinified in oak barrels leading to greater complexity without premature oxidation. There is no malolactic fermentation, balancing the natural acidity of the wine with the powerful character of the terroir.

Clos des Goisses is unique and recognisable for its steep slope, it’s the oldest and steepest vineyard in Champagne. This exceptional terroir has chalky soil and is situated South-facing, on Mareuil-sur-Ay’s best hillside.
