The signature cuvée of Louis Jadot’s estate in Oregon’s Willamette Valley is based on a single 8-hectare plot, planted exclusively with Pinot Noir, free-standing since 1981 and not irrigated. This 2022 vintage offers a stunning range of complex flavors of red and black cherry, fig, and cedar, with floral notes. It shows weight and subtle power on the palate, with plenty of red fruit, underscored by a fresh minerality and a balanced acidity. Here we have a brilliant example of a wine style from a world-renowned region made in a classic Burgundian winemaking style.
