Giant Steps’ Pinot Noir Sexton Vineyard 2022 is a superb expression of the Yarra Valley terroir in Australia. Made from vines planted at altitude on clay-schist soils, it seduces with its balance between intensity and finesse. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, blue fruit and undergrowth, enhanced by subtle notes of sweet spices and dried flowers. On the palate, there are notes of roast beef crust, staraniseand fennel, with a lovely presence of pepper and a touch of minerality (graphite, asphalt, etc.). The silky, fleshy texture combines with vibrant freshness, offering a long, harmonious finish marked by magnificent tannins.
