Taylor’s is one of the most highly regarded producers of aged Tawny Ports. This type of wine is aged to maturity in oak casks with a capacity of around 630 litres for 10 long years. It is during this long ageing process that it develops its characteristic delicate amber colour, acquiring over time the complex, mellow flavours and rich palate that characterise its style. A delicious combination of subtle woodiness and rich aromas of ripe fruit, it bursts with maturity, offering fig and jammy flavours that linger in a long finish.
