In the past, Prosecco used to be a more gently sparkling wine. Frizzante is what’s left of this era, with identical winemaking processes but with less gas produced during frizzante’s second fermentation. It is characterised by excess pressure in the bottle of between 1.5 and 2.5 bars while othersparkling wineshave around 5 bars of pressure. In aromatic terms, this wine is just as fresh and expressive, with its bubbles being more suitable to enjoy throughout a meal. Gently floral with notes of yellow fruit, it is intense and balanced with a touch of residual sweetness at the finish.
