Claudia’s Reserve is produced from a careful selection of grapes from our best Quintas. We don’t follow a recipe, the composition will vary from year to year, as we blend what nature gives us. The 2021 red displays the elegant and pure style of Douro, while respecting its wild roots.

Dark cherry in colour, expressive aromas of dark berries combined with notes of wild flowers. The 2020 reserve red has dark fruit flavours like juicy blackberry and ripe plum, rounded out with a touch of spice from oak barrel aging and a long, luxurious finish.

Fermentation:This blend was created after malolactic fermentation, using the wine from our three vineyards that best fit this profile.Aging:The wine was 61% aged in stainless steel and 39% in French oak barrels, with a size of 500 liters, for 11 months. Of the barrels used, 77% were previously used and 23% were new.
