Quevedo 10-Year-Old Tawny Port

Expertly aged in small oak barrels, this 10-Year-Old Tawny from Quevedo is a beautifully crafted expression of the Douro Valley’s finesse. The use of smaller casks accelerates oxidation, allowing complex, layered flavours to evolve gracefully over time.

Tasting Notes:

A striking amber-tawny hue hints at the depth within. The nose is rich and inviting, with aromas of dried figs, toasted walnuts, cinnamon, and a touch of orange peel.

On the palate, expect a silky texture with elegant notes of roasted nuts, coffee, and dark chocolate, all wrapped in a balanced sweetness. Bright acidity keeps it fresh and lively, preventing any heaviness.

The finish is long, smooth, and beautifully persistent, lingering with flavours of caramelised almonds, dried fruit, and subtle spice.

Perfect as a digestif, with hard cheeses, or as an indulgent treat any time.

Serving & Food Pairing: Tawny Ports are ready-to drink and do not require decanting. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-13ºC they will work wonders if pairing with treacle tart, crème brulee or nut based desserts, like hazelnut praline.

Family-owned for over 100 years, the estate is now in the capable hands of Oscar and Claudia, the new generation of winemakers. Together, they have developed and innovated to produce an outstanding portfolio of ports and still wines. The Quevedo estate and winery is in S. João da Pesqueira, a small town in the heart of Douro Valley. With 112 hectares of vineyards in prime locations, a modern winery, and generations of knowledge it is easy to see why their ports and still wines are consistently rated as outstanding.
