STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

Ravenswood is one of California’s most iconic and legendary wine producers. Founded by Joel Peterson in 1976, it led the Zinfandel revolution. Peterson is famously known as “The Godfather of Zinfandel” for his work. The brand played a pivotal role in revitalising this classic California variety. They are celebrated for crafting powerful, site-specific, and expressive wines. Their philosophy has always been focused on quality over mass production. The winery garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated “cult-like” following.
