In 2012, André & Selina Bondar fell in love with a parcel of Shiraz : the Rayner vineyard, in MacLaren Vale, denomination in the south of Australia, near Adelaide, chosen as the best Estate in 2017 and Top 50 Young Guns in 2018 and 2020. Their wines represent a newAustralianwave: they are fresh, full of flavor, accessible – different and really Australian. For this Rayner Vineyard Grenache 2022, fermentation takes place naturally in egg-shaped ceramic tanks, with maceration on the skins for 120 days, with one part consisting of entire bunches. The wine is aromatic, with crisp fruit (wild strawberry, pomegranate and Mediterranean herbs). The texture is fine and the finish persistent.
