The botanical selection is inspired by Scotland’s mountains, forests and coastal fringes and features the likes of bitter orange, sea buckthorn, heather and rowanberries alongside the requisite juniper. It’s distilled in an affectionately named copper pot still, ‘Peggyâ€?using the vapour-infused method which steams the neutral base spirit through the botanicals. Dry and spicy aromas include coriander seed and white pepper over juniper, orris root and refreshing citrus peel. The palate is peppery, medium to full bodied with flavours of juniper, citrus, coriander finishing grassy, spicy, and crisp, juniper and bitter peel lingering through the aftertaste.
