STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Located in Labastida (Rioja Alavesa) on the foothills of Sierra Cantabria, this is one of the most enchanting wine estates in Spain. Owned by the Rodríguez family since 1967, The Reserva is Remelluri’s flagship red exclusively made from grapes grown in the property since the 2010 vintage. It is a blend of Tempranillo with other traditional Rioja red varieties like Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. Chief Winemaker Telmo Rodriguez is considered by many to be one of the leading lights for his craft.
