Rena–2023–Canarelli

Rena 2023 is an organic white wine made of Vermentino planted on sandy soils. A white wine produced biodynamically by the Clos Canarelli in Corsica.

A blend of Vermentino and Rimenese from biodynamically farmed vines planted on sandy, clay-granitic soils (“Rena” means sand in Corsican), south-facing, in a hot and windy climate. Manual harvest. Vinification: direct press of whole clusters, then into new demi-muids for fermentation and one year of aging. Bottled at the Canarelli’s under a favorable moon, in line with the biodynamic calendar. No fining, no filtration.
