Gabriel Pisano created this ‘experimental’ estate, as he likes to call it, to produce fresh, fruity wines that are representative of the new wave of wines from Uruguay and the Progreso region. Situated 25km from the ocean, this area is characterised by wide temperature variations and very chalky soils, which give the estate’s wines their distinctive character. This 100% Tannat offers aromas of black cherries and plums, black pepper, mocha and baking spices. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and lively acidity, it is a complex wine with a long, generous finish.
