The Praelatenberg is a prestigious place in Kintzheim, which belonged to the monks of Ebersmünster abbey. In its golden yellow colour with amber reflections, the intense nose evokes aromas of very ripe fruit, citrus, beeswax and floral notes. The palate is intense with a very fruity wine that in its youth also reveals an animal character (leather, smoked bacon). This surprising duality is very happy and typical of this grand cru. As it evolves, these atypical aromas give way to notes of ripe fruit (pear, quince) with a pleasant minerality. Dense and powerful, it is a superb Riesling Grand Cru!
