River Red is a blend of Shiraz andPinotage . The Shiraz brings richness and spice, while the Pinotage contributes South African character and originality, giving the wine a harmonious balance. On the nose, it is an explosion of ripe, juicy red (redcurrant, raspberry) and black (plum, black cherry) fruits. This is followed by notes of sweet spices and a hint of chocolate. On the palate, we find the classic markers of the Cape region through a velvety texture, a distinct freshness and delicious red fruit aromas. Medium-bodied, with supple, well-integrated tannins and moderate acidity, it is the ideal companion for all convivial, relaxed and unpretentious moments.
