Rosa–2022–DomaineUchida

Rosa is a natural red wine produced by Osamu Uchida in Bordeaux. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to discover on Cave Pur Jus website.

A blended cuvée of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot from 40 to 80-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils, harvested by hand. Separate vinification of the two grape varieties, each 90% destemmed, low-temperature fermentation, little punching down, gentle pressing. Aged for one year in 500-liter barrels that have seen two wines. Blending of the wines after aging, bottled at the Estate in October 2023, without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
