On our quest for new and exciting wines we discovered this rather eye-catching label Rusty Mutt, a micro-winery in McLaren Vale, Australia, which produces 500 cases a vintage. Close friends and family persuaded Rusty Mutt’s winemaker Scott to make his own small batch of Shiraz in 2006. He skipped the â€?7, â€?8 and â€?9 vintages and returned to the fray in 2010; we are lucky to have our hands on some of his award-winning batch.
