Sans This sparkling red has been produced from a blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The cork was so tightly inserted in this bottle that it required a cork screw to remove it, and even then it was a struggle to extract. The colour on this wine is quite a developed brick red. Moderate mousse that quickly disappears displaying a fine bead but without great persistence. Aromas of stewed plum and leather are followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate lacks richness and is looking quite tired displaying flavours of stewed plum, spice and leather with a very dry finish. Short aftertaste of leather and stewed plum. Pass.Drink now (2010).Alc 13.5%
