Domaine Roux, located in Saint-Aubin in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, grows this Pinot Noir on clay and limestone soils, with slopes facing east and south-east, at an altitude of between 300 and 350 metres. This unique terroir gives the wine a dark garnet-red colour and a broad palate of raspberry, blackcurrant, morello cherry and blackberry aromas, with hints of spice and mocha. It is silky on the palate, with a smooth, fresh finish. This wine goes perfectly with grilled red meats, dishes in sauce and mature cheeses. A discovery not to be missed.
