Saint Helena Petite Sirah Maple’s Spring 2016 is an organic red wine from California produced by Hardy Wallace of Dirty & Rowdy

A cuvée made from 100% Petite Sirah (also known by the name Durif, created from an accidental crossing of Syrah and Péloursin) from vines planted on sandy clay soils. From a vineyard in St. Helena, in Napa Valley, farmed organically, and with manual harvesting. In the winery: maceration and fermentation of whole clusters, with indigenous yeast, and a gentle pressing. Matured on its lees, in French oak barrels that have seen 5-8 wines. Neither filtered nor fined, and racked only at bottling.
