This cuvée is the result of a highly successful blend of grapes from five of the appellation’s climats covering 3.66 hectares: Sous la Velle, Poillange, Croix neuve, le Jarron and le Village haut. Minerality is an essential characteristic of Saint-Romain white wines. The region’s limestone and chalky clay soils contribute to this distinctive characteristic, which is expressed through nuances of citrus fruit, white flowers, fresh herbs, chalk and oyster shell. A bold and elegant Chardonnay, it is the ideal companion for seafood platters and poultry.
