Situated at the foot of the Vergisson rock, the latest addition to the Domaine Carrette range is the excellent Saint-Véran ‘En Combeâ€? Considered the little brother of Pouilly-Fuissé, it offers a less opulent style but with a fine minerality. Saint-Véran, which specialises exclusively in white wine production, presents this 100% Chardonnay with a fragrant nose of fruit (pears, peaches), floral notes and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied, with a balance between full-bodiedness and fine acidity that develops to a long finish. A perfect match for fish or a seafood platter.
