TAVANKARI �is an ancient Georgian word and means highest quality, genuine, unique, pure wine. Made from the best grapes, this wine has a harmonious and delicate aroma and has been aged to perfection. SAPERAVI �Dry red wine, is made from the Saperavi grape, located in Kakheti in the micro-zone of Mukuzani.The wine is produced by the thousand-year-old traditional method of Kakheti which consists of fermenting the grapes in Qvevri (Georgian terracotta vessel) and then for 3 months it is spent in French oak barrels, without adding yeast. It presents a deep garnet colour with the distinct aromas of this vine breed, with major notes of cherries and cedar. It is extractive with a harmonious palate and a balance of velvety tannins. Excellent with roast meat, game and aged cheese.
