SaumurRouge2022–Closdel’Écotard

This Saumur Rouge 2022, 100% Cabernet Franc, draws its elegance from the subtle blend of three plots composed of sand and limestone, promoting a balance between freshness, maturity and silky tannins. The vinification process involves a short maceration (20 days) with very little extraction, followed by 5 months of ageing (67% in vats, 30% in barrels, 3% in stoneware jars), avoiding new wood to preserve the purity of the fruit. The result? A wine that is still young, smooth and without harshness, with a fresh and expressive nose, precise and fruity on the palate, and prolonged by a lively and delicate finish.
