A founding winemaker ofCloudy Bay , Kevin Judd has been making wine in the region since the 1980s. His aim at Greywacke is to optimise canopy management and yields to achieve solid ripeness. The Sauvignon Blanc offers stone fruit flavours on a rich, juicy backbone, with notes of honeysuckle, candied ginger, lemon curd, ripe mango and flowers. Hints of spice linger on the long, expressive finish. Its aromatic intensity and precision place it among New Zealand’s finest Sauvignons.
