Located on the heights of Savigny-lès-Beaune, the Hauts Marconnets climat is distinguished by its light limestone and fine clay soils, which give the Chardonnay a floral and tense expression. Domaine Chanson Père & Fils, a veritable Beaune institution, produces a cuvée of exemplary precision, a subtle combination of freshness and measured richness. The 2023 vintage, marked by beautiful fruit maturity and perfectly preserved acidity, delivers a pure, vibrant and harmonious wine. The nose opens with refined aromas of white flowers, ripe lemon and pear, complemented by a touch of acacia honey and fresh hazelnut. On the palate, the texture is full and caressing, carried by a straightforward mineral tension and a beautiful saline finish.
