Acqui DOC embraces a small area around Acqui Terme including 23 municipalities. The soil composition is mainly clay and the altitude of the hills Alto Monferrato originate wines with remarkable acidity and freshness.

Pairing Traditional vegetable “cardo gobbo” from Nizza Monferrato, anchovies, white meat, chicken wings and legs, dark fowl, iver, pulled pork, curry-based meats, grilled asparagus and carciofi, hare, cod and mashed potatoes, mackerel.
