This is a very delicate Salento rosé made with what can be a brutish grape variety – Negroamaro. But given the light-handed treatment that it gets in this state-of-the-art winery, a gentle colour extraction from the skins for a short period can produce something remarkably elegant. The nose is led by ripe strawberries and followed on the palate with a hint of fresh cream. Ideal!
