The Shizuoka Pot Still K is a focused, terroir-driven single malt born from Shizuoka Distillery’s ambition to highlight Japanese-grown barley and honour its Karuizawa heritage. Distilled exclusively in the Pot Still “K”—a historic still rescued from the legendary, extinct Karuizawa distillery. Produced with 100% domestically malted Japanese barley and matured for 3 to 5 years in ex-bourbon and ex-wine casks. Released in June 2022 with a strictly limited run of 2,500 bottles, this bottling showcases the delicate, floral, honeyed character of Japanese barley and underscores Shizuoka’s commitment to local ingredients and authentic production methods. 55.5% Alc./Vol.
