Tasting Note

An excellent, deep violet color and powerful, pure fruit. This delicious Malbec has a great combination of blackberries, plum and even strawberries on a bold, complex and aromatic palate. You also get waves of spices, clove and white pepper. Good structure; silky and sweet, ripe tannins that are perfectly integrated. A complex, intense and luxurious Malbec of Mendoza.

This demands to be enjoyed with a sirloin steak.

This family estate in the Pedriel district of Mendoza is run and owned by the Sottano brothers Diego, Pablo and Mauricio. It sits at 1000m altitude in the foothills of the Andes so benefiting from the warm days and cold nights typical of the region which make for well balanced and perfectly ripe grapes. The wines from this estate are rich and smooth yet maintain an elegance and balance uncommon in new world wines.
