Sans Springbank’s Sherry Wood Series will culminate in five different expressions. They’re said to be launching them in order of “weightâ€?â€?thus, the Pedro Ximenez was first, followed by a Palo Cortado (strangely, Oloroso isn’t included). The 10 year old Amontillado has just landed; following that, we’ve got the Fino and Manzanilla releases to look forward to. More than a finishing, this whisky spent half a decade in sherry casks before bottling in September 2024 at 55% Alc./Vol. 9900 bottles were produced. Non-chill filtered.
