Intense, Fresh, Juicy and Smooth Blend from Stellenbosch

This wine opens with an enticing and multi-layered bouquet of red berries and juicy cherries, complemented by subtle, spicy undertones. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, bursting with a vibrant core of ripe red fruit. The experience is beautifully balanced by a hint of sweet spice and wonderfully silky tannins that lead to a long, soft, and harmonious finish.

• Blend of Cinsault (40%), Syrah (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%)
• Aged 18 months in French oak.

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

The grapes are hand harvested in the morning. Approximately 30% of the Shiraz grapes are either whole bunch fermented or co-fermented with some added whole bunches. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault remains whole berry ferments. During the 7-10 days of fermentation the wines are pumped over up to three times a day. Some of the grapes receive extended skin contact after fermentation before it is pressed and racked to barrel.
