In March 2024, our very own Wine Buyer, Sophie Lord, packed her bags and jetted off to sunny California on a quest to uncover new gems for our expanding portfolio. She headed to California’s Lodi region, where she partnered with the LangeTwins Winery. This family-owned estate, now in its fifth generation, has been cultivating vines in Lodi since 1916, and is renowned for its exceptional winemaking team. After an afternoon blending with winemaker Heather Nenow, Sophie handpicked the finest parcels to create a lively Chardonnay. Bursting with orchard and tropical fruits, and hints of buttered popcorn, this wine beautifully captures the essence of iconic Californian Chardonnay.
