Situated north ofVienne , the Seyssuel vineyards benefit from a unique terroir. Nestling in the narrowest part of the Rhône Valley, it benefits from an atypical microclimate, with a strong Mediterranean influence. The soil, composed of micaschists and schists, brings minerality and finesse to this Syrah. The grapes are hand-harvested and grown using sustainable agriculture methods. They are vinified without yeast and matured for 12 months in French oak barrels. The result? A wine with powerful aromas of stewed black fruit and spices, with a subtle touch of vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, structured and elegant, with good length. Ideal with mature red meat or game, this wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for a few years.
