Made from 100% Petit Manseng grapes harvested in successive rounds when overripe, Clos de Thou 2021 expresses the richness of its Béarn terroir through a refined, structured and harmonious wine. Its precise vinification gives it great aromatic complexity and remarkable ageing potential. When young, it offers aromas of exotic fruits, citrus, honey and candied fruits. With time, it evolves towards notes of white truffle, hazelnut, roasted coffee and green walnut. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs well with foie gras, noble fish, sheep’s milk or blue cheeses, and even ripe fruit or chocolate desserts.
