Sans Svensk Vodka was founded in 1996 after the prohibition of private companies from producing spirits was repealed in order to bring Sweden in line with E.U. regulations. As such, Svensk is the first private producer of spirits in Sweden since 1917. The flagship product is Svensk’s 100% grain spirit, “Lake Vattern Vodka” which forms the basis of each of the flavoured versions. The design of each bottle is influenced by Swedish minimalism, inspired by Lake Vattern and the Swedish light. Svensk Vodka was awarded a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2005.
