Here we have a fab example of the multi layered Syrah grape variety left to blossom in the wonderful soils and climate of Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. So pure are the surroundings that this wines uses natural yeasts during its oak barrel fermentation. The resulting wine is laden with blackberries and blackcurrant conserve with floral notes of peony roses and black fruit pastilles. As you can tell this is quite some wine. Decant for around an hour to really experience the layers this wine has to offer.
