An XO Cognac finished Single Malt in French Oak casks, a reported first for Talisker, is but a facet of this bottles story. The glass was produced using a 100% biofuel-powered furnace, part of their commitment towards Parley for the Oceans mission to “rewildâ€?100 million square metres of oceanic forest. On release, £3 was donated by Talisker for every bottle sold. Considering Taliskers reliance on the sea their whisky is ‘made byâ€? this is a fitting and worthy cause to throw their weight behind. Expect classic, oily, lightly peated Talisker with a nutty, dried fruit twist. 48.6 Alc./Vol.
