Bodega Alceño is one of the branches of the Bastida family conglomerate, a symbol ofSpanishviticulture that has been producing renowned wines since 1870. Its Talma range is aimed at a younger audience, delivering straightforward, light wines that go well with social occasions. Talma Verdejo is a bright yellow colour with greenish highlights. The traditional aromas are all there: melon in the foreground, followed by citrus fruits such as Sicilian lemon, grapefruit and lemon zest, accompanied by a note of white-fleshed fruit, with apple and pear standing out, as well as a hint of herbaceousness. The palate is dominated by citrus fruits, with a gourmet, salivating acidity. Melon and green apple are also present, giving body and volume to the wine. The finish is slightly mineral, with a salty aftertaste rounding off the experience.
