Tapiz Torrontes from Mendoza is a very aromatic fruity wine full of delicious citrus fruits and grapefruit that lingers long on the palate.

Full tasting note and wine making �/h2>

The Tapiz Torrontes is an aromatic wine with notes of citrus fruit such as lime and a floral blend of jasmine, rose and orange blossom. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and balanced with a lovely long finish.

The grapes for Tapiz Torrontes in Mendoza come from the El Jarill estate at 1050 metres above seal level. Here, the foothills of the Andes are very steep and the air is very fresh at night with much sunshine during the day. The grapes are kept in very good health and develop great aromatic intensity.

Slow alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The acidity is corrected in order to keep aromatic intensity and the natural residual sugar and ten % of the wine has spontaneous malolactic fermentation helping develop the mouthfilling texture.

Tapiz is a fantastic state of the art winery producing superb wines at great value prices. They are dedicated to sustainable practises and have recently been certified GLOBAL G.A.P (a global partnership for Good Agricultural Practice). They have vineyards in Mendoza and also further afield even as far as Salta in the far north which are blessed by a consistent combination of sun, soil and cooling glaciers providing the base for making quality wines.

This wine is great on its own as an aperitif when serve chilled. Also, it is a delicious accompaniment to lightly spiced food and canapes.
