This wine clearly illustrates that sometimes there just is “moreâ€?to certain wines. More fruit, more silky tannins, and a bit more of an exotic note. With this wine I am trying to emphasize the Sta. Rita Hills character of supple fruit, velvet texture, and salinity. This cuveé is more on the hedonistic side of things from within our cellar while still remaining firmly in our European sense of balance.

95/100 �Californian Pinots can be more akin to Merlot in their weight and extraction, but this one is oh so elegant. its dark colour fooling you into thinking it might be heavy when the breezy floral perfume and bright red cherry are anything but.
