An extraordinary testament to eight decades of ageing, Taylor’s Victory Port is a very rare Tawny Port of exceptional quality, matured in hand-made seasoned oak casks. This limited edition is a celebration of Taylor’s unparalleled expertise in the craftmanship of fine Ports and a tribute to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Second World War. To create this exclusive release, Taylor’s has drawn upon its extensive stocks of very old cask aged Ports, carefully preserved in its historic cellars in Oporto. Amongst these reserves lies a small treasury of unique and historically significant port wines. Only in the rarest of circumstances are these jewels released and for the Victory Port, Taylor’s expert blenders have meticulously hand selected a few of these remarkable vintages. The individual component wines were then masterfully blended, using Taylor’s centuries of experience, creating a harmonious symphony of flavours and aromas. This blend was married together over several months, nurtured and watched over until it reached its peak of balance, elegance and perfection.
