STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Labelling wine from this producer as “New World” is a little disingenuous considering that the Te Pā land has been worked by the McDonald family for 800 years. The winemaking side of things though is fairly new, with the first vintage produced in 2011. It is testament to the quality of the Te Pā label that in a region with no shortage of quality winemakers, it has already made a world-wide name for itself
