The Macallan Rare Cask Batch No.1 continued with the new look that debuted in 2018. Each limited release batch represents the volume of only fifty hand-selected sherry butts, these being a combination of sherry seasoned American and European oak casks �a high proportion of them first fill. The result is an unmistakably woody whisky with a rich hue. 43% alc./vol.
