Tokaji Aszu 2000 is produced by Crown Estates, the leading Hungarian dessert wine producer. A rich, honeyed dessert wine balanced with refreshing acidity, made using wine-making techniques dating back to 1631.

Aszu wines are made when, aided by climatic conditions, botrytis concentrates the grape sugars in the hand-picked, raisin-like grapes – Aszu berries. The wine is aged in cask for a minimum of 3 years. The Puttonyos number on each bottle – 3 to 6 – indicate the amount of Aszu grapes used for each bottle, in this case – 3 Puttonyos.
