Uncorking the Basics is back for 2026, demystifying the world of food and wine pairing. We all know the classic pairings of white wine with fish and red wine with red meat but there is so much to this fascinating subject and knowing just that little bit more about your palate and how food and wine dance together over it can wildly elevate an experience.

Join us in our cosy wine bar, A Taste of Tanners, just off Wyle Cop, where we’ll guide you through an introduction to food and wine – tasting five different wines with hand chosen morsels. Plus, we’ll have a relaxed Q&A session where no question is a silly question.
